If humanity fears death so much, why do we continue to invent ways to kill one another?

I agree that we are freaked out by death; however, we know it's going to come. Sooner or later it will be our last days and since we have loved ones out there, we think of the days where we are going to seperate. But the question is.. why do we invent ways to kill others. It depends on certain individuals, we are all different. Some people DO invent ways to kill one another but others do not intend to kill anyone. Sometimes, hatred comes in place. Hatred gets the best of us; it leads us to think about murder. There is this one extent point where we go, "I am going to kill her!" We say it, but we don't do the physical things. Sometimes it just takes a moment where we say such things but we do not take action. "We talk the talk, but we don't walk the walk." It's almost relevant to that quote. On the other hand, there are people who do create ways to kill others. I do not know why this happens because I am not a serial killer. But I do think people kill people for personal reasons or maybe some mental illness. But I will never know because I never met a serial killer. I would not want to know...
