If you were going to make a Time Capsule, with things that define you as a pereson what four things would you put inside?
(NO PARTICULAR ORDER (:)
1.) My Peer Counseling/Assistant Sash. Being in the Peer Counseling program made me into a more responsible, caring and understanding person. The things I learned in class and out of class taught me that real-life problems we hear about DO happen to people around us. I am able to help and empathize those around me.
2.) Photos of my family&friends. They are the one that gave me the strength to make me continue! Continue to go to school, work for my major, study hard, etc. I would want to make my family proud and friends appreciate the support they gave me. Plus, the fun times we had and remind me that those hardships we have gone through are worth it!
3.) Twilight Saga & Dramas. I'm going to let the others know what kind of entertainment addict I am! I am a huge fan of Twilight and I would hope one day I would find a guy like Edward, except the Vampire part! haha. As for dramas, how am I such a loser for Korean, HK, Japanese dramas!
4.) High School Diploma. I survived those pre-teen years and I am somewhere continuing that same education. Just @ a higher level!

Blog Post #8; Randy Pausch's Last Lecture.
What did you find most inspiring about Professor Pausch's lecture? Why?
Before going in depth with what I found MOST inspiring about Pausch, the whole lecture was truly great. He was phenomenon for keeping such a great and positive attitude while doing the speech, making the presentation entertaining by giving out relative details and examples and making jokes on and off. He did not let his own life take away his fun and he will always have fun for each day he has left. I also love how he points out his shattered goals and then slowly talk about how he achieved to where he is in the lecture. Anyway, I found a lot of things quite inspiring. One, "never give up". Even though things may throw at you not the way you want it to be, fight for it and maybe then, a chance will come. He was rejected by Brown Uni & CMU but he still hoped that he can be in the university... and he did. He was persistent. Also, when he applied for Disney, he was rejected with a letter... however, that did not make him lose hope to become the imagineer. Two, "do not do things on your own". There are always other people (friends, family, colleagues) who would love to help you and all you have to do is just open your heart. Pausch included, "tell the truth, apologize". Personally, if you tell the truth and apologize when you know it's your fault, there would be less arguments with the people you care and love in your life. Third, his lecture about the Brick Walls. Pausch said "Brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want something badly enough. They are there to keep out the other people." I totally agree with this because if you want to reach your goals, you have to give it all you got. If something stops you in the way and you easily give up, it means you are not up for it and you what you are going for is not what you REALLY want. There are many more great things that Pausch said in his speech, and it is going to be memorable for a very long time. Especially with his stufffed animals :)~

Blog Post #7 Own Topic!
hmm. I really don't know what I should write about.. but I guess Halloween (: Somewhat related to death. "Dia des los muertos" I think I got that right? O.O Anyway, I am so excited for Halloween! Not just because it is a holiday, it is because I am finally going to go to the Horror Night that Universal Studios has! Plus, I never been to Universal Studios in my whole life, so I am looking forward to a great experience! My dorm is also decorated with Halloween decorations in Cypresss! whoot. My friend, Jessica, who is also my roommate, and I decorated the living room, dining room and balcony like two weeks ago! We put up some ghosts on the walls and a lot of webs on the balcony, living room, dining room and the lights. My other dormmates also contributed with some other kind of cute Halloween-ish decorations~ Once in a while, our dorm will smell like pumpkin pie because of the scent that we have. Enough of decorations, it is also because I might go trick or treating ! haha (: I haven't done so for two years! whoo hoo! And I might trick or treat up in Fullerton, somewhere different for once! lol (: I'm excited to see what kind of treats I'll get. Oh yeah, my other friend plans to take me + my other friends to go see a haunted mansion! Ohh crazzie! Halloween is love! Ok byebye for now (:

Blog Post #6
If humanity fears death so much, why do we continue to invent ways to kill one another?
I agree that we are freaked out by death; however, we know it's going to come. Sooner or later it will be our last days and since we have loved ones out there, we think of the days where we are going to seperate. But the question is.. why do we invent ways to kill others. It depends on certain individuals, we are all different. Some people DO invent ways to kill one another but others do not intend to kill anyone. Sometimes, hatred comes in place. Hatred gets the best of us; it leads us to think about murder. There is this one extent point where we go, "I am going to kill her!" We say it, but we don't do the physical things. Sometimes it just takes a moment where we say such things but we do not take action. "We talk the talk, but we don't walk the walk." It's almost relevant to that quote. On the other hand, there are people who do create ways to kill others. I do not know why this happens because I am not a serial killer. But I do think people kill people for personal reasons or maybe some mental illness. But I will never know because I never met a serial killer. I would not want to know...
